Kids Are Pretty People

AGUILAR FORSTER LUCCHESE

A collective jazz trio, of creation. Musical, visual, poetic... An invitation to travel

Powerful and accessible jazz

The music of the trio Kids Are Pretty People is part of European jazz, in the style of that championed by ECM Records. It also draws on the current repertoire of pop music, with simple melodies and catchy grooves.

A music that appeals to both jazz specialists and non-specialists, who will be captivated and drawn into a world that is both surprising and familiar.

The generosity of the interpretation, the connection between the three musicians, the contrasts sought (internal to each piece and from one piece to another), the power and the musical intensity will facilitate the audience's entry into this universe. The objective is based both on the incarnation and on capturing the listener's attention. To move, maintain interest or arouse it through waves of nuances, speed, differences in textures, expressive power, elegance, virtuosity, the way in which improvisers live their music, embody their individual and collective speeches.
